The Romanian Radio Airplay Chart is a weekly chart compiled by broadcast monitoring service Media Forest, which lists the top ten most broadcast Romanian and foreign songs on eight Romanian radio stations: Europa FM, Kiss FM, Magic FM, National FM, Pro FM, Radio ZU, Radio România Actualit??i and Virgin Radio Romania. First published in 2009, the chart is based on the full broadcasts tracks receive on the aforementioned radio stations, determined by acoustic fingerprinting. Media Forest also releases year-end charts, listing the most broadcast Romanian songs of the respective year integrated with official audience numbers provided by the Asocia?ia pentru Radio Audien?? (Romanian Association for Audience Numbers).
During late 2000s and the 2010s, more than 100 singles reached the number-one position on the Romanian Radio Airplay Chart, the first being "Takin' Back My Love" by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and American performer Ciara in 2009. "Shoulda" (2012) by American recording artist Jamie Woon has spent 20 non-consecutive weeks at the chart's summit, longer than any other song, while the most successful act is Smiley with eight number-ones. Recent years saw Cat Music have a large impact on Romanian broadcasting; with an artist roster that includes Delia, Smiley, 3 Sud Est, Elena Gheorghe and Voltaj, the label repeatedly had the year's most radio broadcasts with different songs from their catalogues. As of 2 July 2018, the current number one on the Romanian Radio Airplay Chart is "6 Days" by Turkish producer Mahmut Orhan and English band Colonel Bagshot.
