Justin Bieber is the most awarded and nominated artist in this category with six consecutive wins and seven overall nominations. His winning streak was broken as of the 2017 Billboard Music Awards by the K-pop group, BTS, who were the first K-pop group ever to be nominated for and to win a Billboard Music Award. BTS garnered over 300,000,000 votes from all around the world, breaking the record for the most number of votes total for a fan voted award.
